Kaleo Legal featured in new Harvard Business School case study on redefining value in professional services.

We are proud to announce Kaleo Legal: Redefining Value in Professional Services, a case study by Harvard Business School and authored by Ashley Whillans, Carrie Stanton, and Jazz Croft.

Drawing on interviews with our attorneys and clients, the case examines how Kaleo has created a professional services firm that successfully values legal work not based on the billable hour, but on outcomes, judgment, experience, and trust, and around aligning the firm's incentives with the client's interests rather than simply with time spent on a matter, an increasingly poor proxy for value, especially with the rapid rise of AI in the legal industry.

We are grateful to the authors for their careful insight, and we hope the case sparks a broader conversation about how professional services are priced and valued.
