Kaleo Legal Adds Greg Pimentel to Its Commercial and Technology Transactions Practices

Virginia Beach, VA – Kaleo Legal welcomes Greg Pimentel to the firm as a member of its Commercial and Technology Transactions practices, with a particular focus on commercial contracts and technology transactions, procurement contracts, commercial real estate transactions, and general corporate counsel duties. At Kaleo Legal, Greg will serve as fractional general, corporate, and technology counsel for clients of all sizes.

Before joining Kaleo Legal, Greg served as Commercial Counsel at CarLotz, Inc., where he was responsible for a wide variety of commercial issues critical to business operations, procurement, and IT infrastructure, as well as advising on customer disputes, HR matters, and corporate leases.  Before that, Greg spent eleven years at Capital One, where he was responsible for negotiating complex commercial transactions and managed a team of commercial attorneys.  At Capital One, Greg specialized in negotiating technology contracts with firms of all sizes and leveraged his superior communication, judgment, and analytical skills to influence counterparties and advise senior executives on legal, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks. Greg is passionate about his community and volunteers countless hours with his church as well as his children’s school and cub scout troop.

“Greg’s extensive experience with commercial contracts of all kinds, in addition to his years of in-house service at Fortune 100, publicly traded corporations, make him perfectly suited to serve Kaleo Legal’s clients in all aspects of their commercial contracting needs,” said Kaleo Legal Partner Billy Poynter. “Greg can do it all – from software licenses and development agreements, to procurement and sourcing contracts, to services agreements of all kinds. He is particularly skilled at highly complex technology transactions, and will serve our software provider clients extremely well.”
